ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Zhengrong Tang, and my last name Tang in Chinese meaning 'Soup', so friends love to call me Soup. I consider myself lucky to have a pair of eyes that can discover beauty and appreciate it, hands that can work diligently, and a patient heart to manage it all. I find Art, Mechanics, and Handcrafts really fun, and I love thinking about how things work.

I majored in Mechanical Engineering, but I also pursuing art alongside my studies. This enhancing my engineering skills in areas like 3D modeling and mechanical design. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I had a lot of fun! Currently, I am pursuing a graduate degree at UC Berkeley, focusing on Product Design within the field of Mechanical Engineering. At WPI, I learned how engineering works as a problem solver and to think differently. Now, at UC Berkeley, I am learning more about teamworks, design methods, and how to present your ideas.
